The idea that the visual environment matters in corporate worship stretches at least as far back as Moses’ Tabernacle. Our world today is intensely visual. While the last thing we want to do is simply add to the noise, what if beige walls could become a digital canvas? What if we could leverage affordable visual technology to help people engage in worship?
On Easter Sunday, we put together a temporary environmental projection system at Community of Hope in an attempt to do just that. (For more in environmental projection, check this out.) Here’s a quick review of what it looked like in our worship center:
